I got hurt my junior year of high school

Not on the field, not in a game — in the weight room during football practice. The one place that was supposed to make me stronger.

The doctors didn't have answers. Physical therapy didn't stick. And for years I just lived with it — back spasms that would show up without warning and sideline me for days at a time. I tried everything that was supposed to help and nothing did.

Then in 2016 I started strength training the right way. And for the first time since that injury, my back actually got better.

Not because of a pill or a procedure — because I finally learned how to move correctly and build a body that could support itself.

That changed everything. And it's the reason I became a coach.

I didn't want anyone else to spend years being told "just rest it" or "that's just how your back is" — because that's not good enough. Pain is a signal, not a destination. And the right movement, done with intention, can change everything.

I'm Devin Wells — OPEX CCP and NASM certified personal trainer, founder of Train with Devin LLC, and a coach who works with two very different but equally motivated groups of people.

Everyday adults who are tired of moving through life in pain. And young athletes who want to perform at a higher level and stay healthy doing it. The philosophy is the same for both — movement done right fixes problems before they start and solves the ones already there.

Every program I build is intentional. Every exercise has a reason. And every client knows exactly what that reason is — because understanding your body is just as important as training it.

I don't just hand you a program and disappear. I teach you the why behind every movement, every decision, every rep — so that when you walk away, you don't need a coach. But you'll want one.

I have direct access to physical therapy expertise when it matters. Which means if something comes up that's outside my scope, you're not getting a Google answer — you're getting a real one.

This isn't about quick fixes. It's about building something that lasts — for the long game, for your life, for longevity.
