Not at all — in fact most of my clients come in with little to no experience. That's exactly who this is designed for. We start from where you are, not where you think you should be.

Let's be clear — I am not a licensed physician or physical therapist, and I never want to operate outside of my scope. That said, a lot of my clients come to me with exactly this issue and it's something I take seriously.
If pain or injury is a factor, I always encourage you to see a Doctor of Physical Therapy first. I have a network of physical therapists I can refer you to if you need a starting point. Once you've been evaluated, I'm happy to work alongside your PT to build a program that complements your treatment and keeps you moving safely.
My job is to coach you. Their job is to treat you. Together we make sure you're covered on both ends.

The initial assessment looks at how you move and where you are aerobically. It's not intimidating — think of it as a starting point that tells us both exactly where to begin and what to prioritize.
